As the President of our community-focused group, I am dedicated to driving our mission forward with energy and purpose. My role involves not only leading our fundraising and volunteer efforts but also ensuring that our group remains active and engaged. By motivating and guiding our team, I strive to create a positive impact in the community. 

Nihitha Gurreddy

Vice President

As the Vice President of out community-focused group, I play a pivotal role in supporting the organization’s mission and ensuring its smooth operation. As a key leader, I assist the president in overseeing the group’s activities, helping to develop and implement strategies for recruitment, event planning, and outreach. I help lead meetings, manage volunteers, and handle administrative tasks. 

Ryan Gehani

Co-Founder & Secretary

As the Secretary of our community-focused group, my role is vital in ensuring our organization runs smoothly and efficiently. Behind the scenes, I am the keeper of our records, the scheduler of our meetings, and the communicator of our progress. I am dedicated to bringing this group forward together as a whole, and ensuring we can meet our goals and help the group overall. 

Serena Gorangandhi

GFO

As the CFO of our group, my responsibilities include being the primary point of contact for our sponsors, ensuring we build and maintain strong relationships. I also actively seek out opportunities to advertise our group, aiming to attract new supporters and members. Our collaborative administration style enables us to leverage our diverse strengths, address challenges more efficiently, and motivate our team to exceed expectations. By logging our hours and funds collected, I ensure everyone contributes effectively and fairly.

Maggie Chen

Website & Graphic Designer

As the website/graphic designer for our volunteer group, I’m passionate and excited about using my technological and design skills to advance our mission with creativity and impact. I’m responsible for managing our website, updating it and organizing to keep track of the events we participate in, implementing effective technology use, and creating eye-catching graphics that communicate our cause and resonate with our community. My goal is to enhance our outreach through technology and support our mission in every way I can.

As Co-Lead Opportunity Finder of The C.A.R.E. Group, my focus is on discovering and making connections that will allow our team to engage in opportunities to actively support the community. I seek out potential partnerships as well as organizations that align with C.A.R.E.'s mission, ensuring that we contribute meaningfully as a local initiative. My aim is to keep The C.A.R.E. Group involved and connected through collaborative efforts so that we could do our part in making a positive impact.

As the Lead of Communications for The C.A.R.E Group, I am delighted to manage the external outreach of the initiative. I am dedicated to building relationships with local businesses, and securing sponsorships and partnerships. My focus is on promoting our group’s activities and maintaining positive community connections through strong communication and networking skills.
