At the Biotechnology High School Picnic at Holmdel Park, NJ, the C.A.R.E. Group brought more homemade baked goods to satisfy customers' tastes and raise money for charity. This time, the C.A.R.E Group worked hard to bake funfetti cake pops and brownies at home, and we were able to partner with an allergen-free bakery, Baking A Difference, located in Aberdeen, New Jersey, who kindly donated platters of brookies and raspberry oatmeal bars. Families, friends, and even park visitors gathered around to buy some sweet treats and support our ambition, demonstrating the true power of community and generosity. After the picnic, members of the C.A.R.E group brought the rest of the desserts to Falson Lane Park, where we ended up selling out and raising $270. In the end, this bake sale was incredibly successful, raising money, spirits, and recruiting even more members for our cause!
