The C.A.R.E. Group recently had the opportunity to participate in the Marlboro Hindi School’s interactive event, where a vibrant, make-shift bazaar came to life. Equipped with fake currency, the eager students navigated different corporate and product stalls, with the chance to learn the valuable real-world arts of budgeting, spending, and smart negotiating.
Among the bustling marketplace, The C.A.R.E. Group’s stall offered a unique, high-value investment: health and skin safety education! For 200 rupees, young shoppers embarked on an interactive experience. First, they read a short, informative article about skin cancer and sun prevention. Next, they put their knowledge to the test by answering age-categorized trivia questions tailored to ensure every child walked away truly understanding the concepts.
Finally, the highlight: Kids designed their own custom bracelets using special UV color-changing beads that turn purple in the sun—serving as a permanent, wearable reminder to apply sunscreen! To sweeten the deal, every participant was rewarded with a delicious brownie treat.
To C.A.R.E.’s delight, the response was absolutely overwhelming. Our message of sun safety and skin cancer resonated so deeply with the young negotiators and their parents that we were completely sold out! Thank you to Marlboro Hindi School for an unforgettable day of fun, negotiation, and life-saving education!
