Rabbit Ray Donation

This week, The C.A.R.E. Group had the incredible opportunity to visit the K. Hovnanian Children’s Hospital and personally deliver something that’s been in the works for a long time: Rabbit Rays — comfort tools that help ease fear and explain medical procedures to young patients.

When we arrived, we met with the amazing nurses who explained how Rabbit Rays are used. They walked us through how these amazing, friendly toys help model IV drips and medical steps in a way that kids can understand. It helps them feel calmer, braver, and more prepared. And seeing it all in person made everything we’ve done over the past year feel so worth it.

Here’s what made it even more powerful: the hospital team had been waiting four years for this donation. They had hoped and dreamed of bringing Rabbit Rays to their young patients — and thanks to YOU, we made it happen.

Over the past year, The C.A.R.E. Group worked hard to raise every single dollar through bake sales. Cookies, cupcakes, brownies — it all added up. And thanks to the generosity of our supporters, donors, and community, we were able to fund this long-awaited gift.
